Welcome to the 2013 L.E.A.R.N. Conference!

As Governor Rendell said at last year's Conference, we must find the "political will" to improve public education in America.  Let's start by assessing solutions.  This year’s annual education innovation conference, The Debate for America’s Future: Assessing the Viability of Public Education Solutions, will be held on February 23, 2013 at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

It examines current efforts to improve the American public education system. Our policymakers are simultaneously funding a collection of potential solutions:
  • teacher evaluation system reforms within the current system,
  • charter school collaboration with public schools,
  • education technology, and
  • school turnaround solutions.

This Conference pauses to ask some key questions and to evaluate the success of these solutions, candidly analyzing what works and what doesn’t with the nation’s policymakers, teachers, education experts, and those leading these charges for education reform.  The majority of our panelists have teaching experience.
